BMW manufacturing, reportedly is preparing a new model of the BMW 1-Series that will be positioned as a direct challenger to the Audi A3.
BMW preparing new model to challenge Audi A3
After read from Worldcarfans, following the success of the premium hatchback Audi, make BMW motivated to launch a BMW 1-Series or a new MINI to directly compete with the Audi A3.
According to BMW sales and marketing chief, Ian Robertson, BMW’s own party is never closed to play in the new segment. He admits though now there are no plans whatsoever for such a model, maybe it could happen in the future.
Other plans to compete with Audi, BMW seems to be the launch of a latest MINI models, but if there is a MINI badge to wear, chances are it will only be sold in China.
As known earlier, the German car company has invested significant resources to develop a platform FWD or front-wheel drive that will be used for the 20 latest model BMW.
Currently 11 models BMW car have a green light to enter the production line, and the first will be a new MINI that will slide later this year, and was followed early next year with a production version of the Concept Active Tourer.
